Do I need a special DAB+ radio when you launch?
Yes — we broadcast in DAB+ (not the older DAB standard). Most radios sold in the UK from around 2016 onwards are DAB+ compatible. Check your radio's manual or look for the DAB+ logo.
Will my car DAB+ pick you up automatically?
Once we're broadcasting, just run autotune (or "scan" / "rescan") on your car radio. It'll find ROCK.SCOT and add us to your station list automatically.
Is the Oban DAB multiplex new?
Yes — the Oban small-scale DAB multiplex is part of the wave of new SSDAB licences awarded by Ofcom to expand digital radio into rural and coastal Scotland. ROCK.SCOT will be one of the stations carried on it.
